The Jaipur Virasat Foundation (JVF) and the Development and Research Organisation for Nature, Arts and Heritage (DRONAH), with the support of the Government of Rajasthan, Urban Development, are organizing an Architectural Exhibition. The theme for this Exhibition is Rajasthan – Conservation Challenges and the Dynamics of a Living Heritage.  The Exhibition will be on display from 19th -29th January 2010 at Jawahar Kala Kendra Jaipur. It may also be showcased at other locations across India and internationally, at a later date.

From the thread of life to a kite string, 'dori' ties life together. Mela, Jaipur's newest retail cultural space, features products from artisans, designers, artists and the street. We have Udaipurr lehariya stoles, ‘gota’ lamps and chakris with sadda flying thread.

Discover new products celebrating thread in all of its’ manifestations. . Mela, in partnership with the jaipur virasat foundation, is Jaipur's newest innovative retail space for products demonstrating intelligent craftsmanship. In a collaborative environment, creative people hold exhibitions and performances while showcasing and selling

 

Event : Hub for Children

Details :

Apart from all the classical and contemporary performances, we are presenting something specially for children – designed as a hub for them. This is an opportunity for children to experience the traditional non-stage art forms and understand their roots. The children will come together to enjoy the various performances and art forms specially – street magicians, puppetry, nat-kala and juggler.
